UNI(di)VERSITY envisages four intellectual outputs that represent an innovative blend of different activities:
This result is a systematic mapping and analysis of European Higher Education Institutions’ approaches to migration as part of their social responsibility and diversity approaches, to contribute increasing knowledge about outstanding and transferable university actions and strategies towards equity, diversity and inclusion in relation to migration. This result will be available towards the end of November 2021.
Higher Education can play a crucial role in providing solutions to societal challenges with reference to migration issues, rise in political polarisation, radicalisation and violent extremism. European HEIs can help build inclusive societies in a context of increasing migration flows, demographic changes, and tensions related to identities and cultural diversity.
This output is a set of instruments to support university staff and services in their efforts to integrate issues related to migration and diversity in these different areas, grounded in a 360-degree approach to migration and diversity through universities’ social responsibility. This result will be available towards June 2022.
The Strategic Framework for socially responsible universities in the era of migration represents a methodological instrument to support the further development and strengthening of HEIs strategies on inclusion. This result will be available towards December 2022.
